WEB HOSTING TUTORIALS

Companies and even small businesses are taking advantage of the world wide web. It is a very effective tool ever to come into existence linking people from all over the place. The web is widely used for advertisements. Companies would invest a lot for a very attractive and catchy website. However, security has become a serious issue with this tool because it is such a big and open  “cloud” of information out there which anyone can get access of. That is why it is better to be knowledgeable of your web hosting provider’s back-up systems and plan. It will help to read web hosting articles or web hosting tutorials for business owners to familiarize themselves with standards of said service.

Multiple back ups and remote sites lessens if not eradicate  problems that may occur that has direct effects on your web site. You don’t have to worry because there are security systems and means that has evolved as well. Web hosting companies use servers supplied with dual firewall components helping to protect websites against force majeure i.e. power failures, or natural disasters. Firewalls keep internet hackers at bay, preventing them to steal any confidential information on your site. So read on those articles to learn more!

PACQUIAO -DE LE HOYA FIGHT

Manny Pacquiao, Filipino boxing superstar is facing off Oscar De Le Hoya in a non-title fight on December 6 at the MGM Grand Hotel. Both boxing superstars agreed to fight at the welterweight class (147 pound). This is indeed the biggest fight of Manny. De Le Hoya, the Golden Boy has been the strongest fighter in his own time, older than Pac Man, it is believed that he will not give Manny an easy time in the ring.

BEDROOM FURNITURE

I have been dreaming to tour around the world. First stop? Italy! I heard about how beautiful the country is and the people. Romantic and nostalgic, I’d want to set my foot there someday.

Well, while that dream is yet to come, I settle myself in the confines of our home where some pieces of furnishings are European and Italian-inspired. From the living area right up to the rooms. Talk about details, My mom's  Bedroom Furniture says it all. My mom is into interior design – not professionally though but it has been her passion, she has an eye for details and beauty naturally.  My room is like a smaller version of hers. When my daughter came into the world, we made it as child-friendly as possible with a little tweak here and there transforming it to a more  Modern Bedroom. Good to play around with designs it keeps my creative juice flowing (LOL!).

Yes, I am a single parent and I am staying with my mom. In our free time we would spent hours in a mall just looking at new furnishings that would complement our Contemporary Bedroom. It is always good to spend time together and do things that we both enjoy doing. It keeps the bond stronger and healthier. Funny we both now share that dream to travel to Italy, where we look forward to being pampered at real Italian Bedroom in a hotel in that country. Why not!

BABY AND TODDLER PRODUCT SHOPS ONLINE

Thanks to the internet,  there is a one-stop-online-shop that provides buyers a whole wide range of baby and toddler products. What’s good about it is that it is like a directory of baby and toddler products because it seeks out every and any store on the web where you could find what you are looking for. Very practical and non traditional. Had I known about it before, I wouldn’t have gotten disappointed.

I remember wanting to buy almost everything I see at baby shops even before my baby was born. Wanted to prepare her room and fill it up with a crib, bedding and linen, activity sets and play yards, nursery furniture, clothes – the works! Thankful I had the sensing not to buy on impulse. So what I did was asked my friends and relatives who also have children and have something valuable to say or could give a piece of advise when it comes to baby stuff. I was a new mom that time and needed all the help I could get.

I looked for that moveable door flap that you can attach and install to stairway opening. I live in a two-storey house and was so worried my daughter could fall off the stairs by accident. So I looked for that baby safety accessory but couldn’t find any that would fit to my stairway. I went shop-hopping but was unlucky, I guess. Wasted time, energy, and of course money!   Got disappointed so I stopped looking and just settled with ensuring that the door to my room was always locked to prevent her from going out and heading straight towards the stairs. One-stop-online-shops provide convenience, practicality and cost-efficiency.

MY SESAME SEED

It was the first Filipino Presentation in Gabby’s school. It was only recently that the school decided to add Filipino subject into their curriculum.

The children sang “Bahay Kubo” while holding on to cut out vegatable-shaped boards. The preschool level were assigned to be sesame seeds or “linga” in Filipino. Gabby had a great time memorizing the song a week before the presentation and have become curious and learned a lot about vegetables!

DECORATE AND ILLUMINATE

My mom is very passionate about house decorations and designs. She has a taste for classic and elegant style. One of the reasons why we bought our house is its classic lay out, high ceiling, French doors and windows, huge portals, artistic landing, and its white wall interior illuminated with strong natural light. She already had ideal fixtures and furniture in mind the first time we saw it. She said we need heavy medieval draperies and decorative and efficient lamps. Lightings add a lot of drama to a room.

When we bought the house we didn’t waste time shopping for appliances, furniture and fixtures. We bought those Victorian-inspired chaise longue for the living room. I remember we spent a lot of time choosing the right kind of lamps and lampshades to match them. During late afternoon when the drapes are down, these lamps are turned on to create a tranquil and homey ambience in the room. For the study, we got a small desk lamp so as not to strain our eyes. I love the torchieres we installed on each post at the front of the house. It illumines the whole house in the evening.

It was tiring yet a happy experience for us. We love decorating and are always on the look out for new and upcoming designs. From time to time we would browse on the internet to check out new designs and get creative ideas on how to give the house a new look. Everyday, I look forward to coming home and be with my family. There’s no place like home, indeed!

LEARN BABY CPR

I became a parent at age 29 and my life changed from then on. I became more responsible, caring and mature. One life has been entrusted to me by God and I better live up to that trust. Being a smart parent saves me from getting stressed and pressured from being a "parent" per se. I've learned to deal with my daughter with love and care and with objectivity. I attend lifeskills seminars about Parenting, Relationship, Career, Sex & Money and more... because I get so much from it. I make it a point to apply the learnings to real life situations, like in this case, Parenting. It is our ultimate goal to keep our child/ren safe at home. But accidents do happen and it matters to be knowledgeable and equipped with a lot of things during emergencies.

I've read that thousands of infants and young children die from choking, drowning, and suffocation each year and in most of these emergencies, the child's life could be saved if a PARENT (that's ME!...could also be YOU!) or loved one knew CPR. I agree!

Online Baby CPRoffers a Full CPR course for only $7.95. Topics included in the full 6 months course are: Choking and Drowning Prevention, Child/Infant CPR (Breaths and Compression), Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and a lot more, which comes with pictures, videos and audio. Online training saves stay-at-home parent/s time and money from gas consumption, paying more and having to sit in CPR class.

Just to make it clear, this is not paid advertising. I find this site very useful and practical hence, I am sharing it with you, like spreading the good news! for I know that parents will definitely benefit from it. You'll never know when you'll need one!

A VERY SPECIAL LOVE

I happen to love this song even before the movie which starred Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz came out. Maureen Mcgovern is the original voice behind the timeless song. But our Lani Misalucha gave so much justice to it when she did her own rendition of the song. Loved it more!

A VERY SPECIAL LOVE

I never believed in love

I was deceived by love

I never had much luck with lovers before...

And I couldn't compete

I seemed just part of the street

To be walked on by everyone but then

Then, I found a very special love in you

It's a feeling that's so totally new

Over and over, it's burning inside

And I found a very special love in you

And it almost breaks me in two

Squeezing me tighter

But I'm never gonna let go...

You're not like the rest

I know you're one of the best

You give more than you should and take nothing in return

Stay always with me

And I always will be

The one person that you can count on always to love you

And I found a very special love in you

It's a feeling that's so totally new

Over and over, it's burning inside

And I found a very special love in you

And it almost breaks me in two

Squeezing me tighter

But I'm never gonna let go

And I Found a very special love in you

It's a feeling that's so totally new

Over and over, it's burning inside

I found a very special love in you

And it almost breaks me in two

Squeezing me tighter

But I'm never gonna let go...

CISCO CERTIFICATION

It is truly the age of Information Technology. Since the boom of the www dot com in 1986, the means of exchanging communication, both through voice and data evolved and became sophisticated as the need to adapt to change arises. It encompasses all types of business be it retail, wholesale, corporate or the SME’s. All can’t help but adapt to changes in the way they do business. It has also opened doors of job opportunities to people as the technology helps these businesses expand and grow.

One way to keep up with the dynamic world of IT is to be “IT equipped” as well. Companies invest on their people to make sure that they are adept with the proper skills to succeed in their field as this contribute to the success of the company.

Cisco provides trainings and Cisco certification that will help you grow and advance in your careers. You will discover more about the future of networking technology as you get trainings on Security, Voice Networking, Data Center, Routing and Switching, etc. As a lot of environmentalists object and refuse the continuous growth of IT because of its effects in the environment- global warming, Cisco, with its environment-friendly initiative launches Gas Reduction Initiative under the Efficiency Assurance Program (EAP). Reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 25% in 4 years using detailed energy flow measurements, more efficient equipment, and virtual storage networks.

I used to work as a sales person in two of the country’s biggest telecommunications and IT company. These companies sent us to different IT trainings and seminars, one was a CISCO training. It helped me understand the role of IT in communications. It equipped me with knowledge, edging out my competitors. With the knowledge, I was able to analyze my clients’ requirement and provided them with solutions. It translated to meeting my quota all the time.

If you are and IT person and would like to further your career, visit  Cisco certification and take hold of your future now!

GOD IS LIGHT

God is Light. When there is Light, there is Truth. When there is Truth, there is a Way. When there is a Way, there is Life. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life! Light overcomes darkness. It gives clarity, safety and energy!

Let your Light Shine Today!

5This, in essence, is the message we heard from Christ and are passing on to you: God is light, pure light; there's not a trace of darkness in him. 6-7If we claim that we experience a shared life with him and continue to stumble around in the dark, we're obviously lying through our teeth—we're not living what we claim. But if we walk in the light, God himself being the light, we also experience a shared life with one another, as the sacrificed blood of Jesus, God's Son, purges all our sin. 8-10If we claim that we're free of sin, we're only fooling ourselves. A claim like that is errant nonsense. On the other hand, if we admit our sins—make a clean breast of them—he won't let us down; he'll be true to himself. He'll forgive our sins and purge us of all wrongdoing. If we claim that we've never sinned, we out-and-out contradict God—make a liar out of him. A claim like that only shows off our ignorance of God.

GABBY IS 5!

  • How are you doing today?
  • Have you thanked Him yet?

Gabby turned 5 last July 16th !

Her Lola gave her a surprise party and my sis Llana gladly baked her birthday cake and chocolate muffins.

She loved the trolley bag gift from her Dad.

It was a simple yet a special celebration of her birthday with aunts and cousin. I took the afternoon off from work to be with her.

I love you daughter!
