My sister and I are going to try a new internet service provider,  wi-tribe. It uses 4G technology to deliver wireless broadband service. Another player in the broadband arena which I think is healthy since we have more options and not get stuck with those traditional providers whose customer service deteriorate overtime. Wi-tribe is owned by San Miguel Corporation in partnership with Liberty Telecoms. Well, I was not happy to hear this from the sales agent who came by to offer us the service. For one, telecoms is not in anyway related to San Miguel's core business. Two, Liberty Telecoms as a company has not been doing pretty good...get the picture? I've also read reviews about this new provider online, sadly most are complaining about its slow connection. However, after considering some positive factors like proximity of their site to our house in Paranaque, faster connection than the previous provider (concluded this after the free demo conducted), good remarks from the neighborhood, we have decided to give it a shot! Will keep you posted of the development.
